Terms of Service

1. Nature of Service

ServiceFind is an informational home-services diagnostic help center and telephone referral directory. ServiceFind is not a licensed trade contractor, general contractor, construction firm, or engineering consultant. We do not provide physical home repairs, plumbing, electrical, roofing, or HVAC contracting services directly.

2. Independent Contractor Relationship

When you call telephone numbers listed on ServiceFind, you connect with independent local providers. These contractors operate completely independently from ServiceFind. ServiceFind does not supervise, employ, control, or direct contractor field personnel.

Any contract, agreement, warranty, or financial transaction for home repair or installation is formed solely between you (the homeowner) and the independent service provider.

3. No Provider Checks & Homeowner Responsibility

ServiceFind is a free referral and information service. ServiceFind does not check or vet providers. Before you hire, check the contractor's license with your state board and get a written estimate. Pricing and agreements are made directly between you and the independent local contractor. Licensing status can change at any time. Homeowners are strongly urged to:

• Request and inspect physical copies of active state licenses and liability insurance certificates prior to work commencing.
• Obtain a comprehensive, itemized written estimate detailing scope of work, labor charges, materials, and warranty boundaries.
• Verify that any necessary municipal building permits are obtained for major structural or utility modifications.

4. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Content provided on ServiceFind is published for general educational reference. While we strive to ensure technical accuracy and verify citations from official standards bodies, diagnostic information is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. ServiceFind shall not be liable for any damages, repair defects, delays, or property loss resulting from contractor work or reliance on published articles.

5. Commercial Relationship

ServiceFind is a free service for homeowners. Providers pay us when you connect with them by phone.
