By accessing or using the ServiceFind.Center website, the interactive Truth Engine diagnostic tools, or our localized telephony referral numbers, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. If you do not accept these terms in their entirety, you are prohibited from using the platform.
2. Marketplace Matching Role
ServiceFind.Center operates strictly as an administrative referral software platform. We pre-vet and list independent service professionals, coordinate diagnostic triage briefs via our AI engines, and route calls.
ServiceFind.Center does not directly employ service technicians, perform home repairs, or guarantee the outcomes of physical contracting work. Homeowners contract directly with independent service providers.
3. Contractor Independence and Licensing
All contractors participating in the ServiceFind.Center network are independent business entities. Homeowners are solely responsible for:
- Verifying specific municipal or county specialty licenses required for their local project.
- Reviewing general liability insurance certificates and workers' compensation status directly with the dispatched contractor prior to work commencement.
- Negotiating final scopes of work, pricing schedules, and written warranty agreements.
ServiceFind.Center conducts initial 50-point onboarding checks (FCRA background screens, active license status checks), but we do not assume ongoing responsibility for contractor license standing, bonding parameters, or insurer compliance.
4. Estimates and Pricing Disclaimer
Any pricing ranges ($180–$450+), diagnostic outputs, or material cost calibrations provided by the Price Lab Estimator or Truth Engine are for educational reference and initial triage only.
Exact estimates, site-visit dispatch fees, parts availability, and binding quotes are determined exclusively by the independent contractors on-site. AI diagnostics do not represent a professional engineering inspection or binding contract terms.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ServiceFind.Center, its directors, employees, or software partners shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from (a) the work performance or negligence of independent contractors, (b) diagnostic errors in the AI triage engine, or (c) property damage, delays, or contract disputes arising from matching services.
